A Gobshite is someone who causes great annoyance, talks absolute nonsense, and wouldn’t know sense if it hit them in the face.
They deal in:

• waffle,

• falsehoods,

• wild claims,

• and pure verbal chaos.

It’s not a term of endearment — but it is deeply satisfying to say when someone is wrecking your head. Gobshite is an Irish slang term for an irritating, foolish, or dishonest person — someone who talks without thinking or spreads nonsense.
